| My Customer: "Hey,
this motor looks great! I can't figure out how to make it start going
though. I can plug it in and turn it on, but I cant adjust the speed.
Do you know how to do this?"
Me: "There
is a lever on the rear side of the motor. You need to pull it at
different positions for different speeds. A sewing machine operator
would use some sort of linkage so he/she could pull this lever by foot."
My Customer: "Yeah
I can see a hole with it saying "faster" and "slower," but there is no
way to change it. Do I need to get a small part? I looked in the box.
Didn't see anything."
Me: "You pull the spring loaded lever to vary the speed. Not any hole that says faster or slower."
My Customer: "I see how this works now. It's perfect! thanks you've been such a great help. I'll leave you alone now!"
OK, now read through that conversation with a dirty mind... like mine...
